Cosmic Shimmer

Another class layout from my retreat that used Cosmic Shimmer's. Must admit I have quite a few of these bottles in my craft room that have never been touched but now I am looking forward to having a play!! They were sprayed through a May Arts template and I used a very light colour first then went over it with the blue/green colour and finshed off with the bronze colour. I felt it needed a simple layout on top so I just added some of the lovely Prima vines and a Prima stamp for the journaling. The title is done with some black glitter thickers.
Have a great weekend!

Magic Of Christmas

I dont often use acetates that have been printed already but this sheet came in the Fancy Pants kit...in fact you get 2 different ones to play with. I decided to put the papers and the photo underneath the acetate sheet and then the border, pom poms and other embellishments are on the top. The pearl brad that is through my snowflake keeps the acetate sheet in position together with some glue behind the scalloped border. You also get a sheet of rub-ons and one of those is the Christmas memories saying.

Needless to say my son cringed when he saw what I was doing....but I love this photo of him as a snowflake....I have made another layout with the same range using the school photo that went with this one, I will post that next time.

Today I have put details of my next class, but obviously its weather permitting, surely the snow will be gone by them......fingers crossed. If you would like to book a place, let me know and I will reserve you a kit. I have a limited number this time as everybody sold out of the papers and stickers I have used. There is a pic of the paper range so you get an idea of colours etc on the side bar together with photo sizes.

Hope you are taking plenty of pics of the snow...lol!! Keep warm and stay safe.

Pretty in Pink

Somehow these papers ended up in my basket after a quick trip to Sugar and Spice on Friday...amazingly enough..lol!! Still trying to use older photos and I remembered I had this photo of Emma which needed some tweeking on picasa, its still not perfect by any means but I can live with it and would rather have it in her album than not used at all. Everything is My Minds Eye, the title was done with American Craft thickers and the brads& buttons were from my stash. The flourish and the corners are sizzix and sizzlet dies.

Madeira

Hope you all had a great weekend....what a great Wimbledon final yesterday, although I did wonder if I was ever going to get the dinner on!! lol.

Todays layout is another kit from Totalpapercrafts, the papers are from Kaisercraft and I think they go with this very old photo of my in-laws really well. Sadly neither of them are with us anymore and I dont have very many photos to scrap. Crochet flowers are very in at the moment and karen has a great selection. The title has been made with American Craft Thickers... I love these alphabets, very versatile and they come in a range of fonts and colours. I did the swirls slightly differently using a Sizzix die.
