K & Co Amy Butler Lotus tea box

I have not had much time for scrapping recently so when the chance came to spend a day with friends last saturday I set myself a challenge to get at least one page done. I have had this kit from Totalpapercrafts for ages and after a couple of modifications managed to get 2 layouts from the 1 kit....which I was really pleased about!! They are for different albums....one of which is going to Portugal....eventually! Papers are all K & Co Amy Butler Lotus tea box ....and the die cuts are from the same range. The frame for the photo was made from the box the die cuts came in. Pom Poms are from Bazzill.

Back soon with more....take care

Februarys class kit

Yesterday I had my monthly class with the girls and these are the layouts they did. We used cardstock and dies cuts from My Minds Eye Tiny Dancer range. The kit included a 6x4 transparency to go over your photo. I love these little 4mm pearls and they work really well with the Bazzill gem templates. You just mark the pattern through the templates, add a touch of glue on top of your pencil marks and add the pearls. The flowers were the Retro flowers punches from EK Success. The second layout is from the left-overs, I used a border punch for the side....with the remaining die-cuts from the kit. The leaves/stem I cut on the Cricut using the Mothers Day cartridge.

Totalpapercrafts kit #1 February

Karen asked me to design one of her kits for this month and this is the resulting layout. I must confess I have these papers "somewhere" in my paper unit, I love the colours and its from Fancy Pants so you know the designs are going to be delicious! Included in the kit are some lovely cream & peachy flowers, I only used a few as I decided to partially cut some of the flowers from the cardstock and I did not want to over do it. The die-cuts and also included in the kit and you have loads to choose from. I used a Fiskars border punch Upper Crest to make the decorative border and I added some tony buttons for the flower centres. The title was cut on a Sizzix alphabet.

SEI Alpine Frost

Another simple layout using the SEI Alpine Frost collection, the die cuts were all in the kit and I made some snowflakes with a Cuttlebug die-cut and added some glitter. Ribbon is from Stampin'Up!, brads from stash.

Christmas Kit

For my classes this Christmas I used Bo Bunny Tis the Season papers and die cuts, I had the last class today so I can now post the layouts. The die cut sheet comes with a set of alphabet stickers. We punched some of the circles out of one of the sheets to make more embellishments.

Guess what.......another Christmas layout

but when you are on a roll.....you have to keep going right?? I have so many Christmas photos of the kids when they were younger that have never been scrapbooked and I feel good that at last I am doing something with them. This layouts has used My Minds Eye Colourful Christmas.....good title because it definitely is colourful but works great with this photo as there is quite alot of orange, a colour not often seen in Christmas papers. The title is American Craft Thickers and I have used some of my snowflake dies with the co-ordinating brads from the range in the centres.
Back soon with more ...take care and keep warm!

Uggs

This layout is of my sons girlfriend Kylie when he surprised her with her much wished for Ugg boots last Christmas. The layout is based on a Pencil Lines sketch and everything on the page is from a great pack of cardstock and papers I brought before Christmas from SEI called Alpine Frost. Its not cheap...£25.00 but its a big pack full of co-ordinating textured white core cardstock, glitter and pearl papers and cardstock as well as a full sheet of die cuts. It will last me ages and the colour tones are beautiful and a little but different from the normal christmas ranges you see....more a winter theme really. The title was made was Thickers chipboard alphabets, in a red pearl so tie in with the papers as they are pearl effect as well. I added some cream velver ribbon from my stash on the tag and used a punch for the corners and a quickutz alphabet for the year.

Still want to complete a few more Christmas layouts then I am going to get back to day to day scrapbooking.

Have a great Sunday.
