scary layout
I did not realise until the other day that yesterday was National scrapbooking day.....why did I think it was in October....prehaps I am getting confused with National cardmaking day..lol!! Needless to say with card classes booked there was nothing I could do about it so I hope you had a good day if you spent it scrapping. With the weather as its been its an ideal time to steal abit of crafty time to cheer ourselves up on a miserable weekend. Todays layout is another one of mine that I did at my retreat....photos again that I have wanted to scrap for a few years. The papers and die cuts are all My Minds Eye "Boo to you" and the spiders web comes from Artbase
Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Aprils class kit
Had a great class today using this months kit.....the papers and die cuts are all from the Loire Valley range from Kaisercraft. In the kit there is enough papers etc to do a double layout and a single, you get 6 sheets of double sided papers, 2 bazzill , chipboard die cuts in a great handy zipper case for you to use again for something else and some black droplets. I do have some kits left they are £9.00 not inc p&p and come with full instructions for both layouts. Email me if you are interested.....I do a kit each month if you would like to be informed about what each months kit is, I can add you to my mailing list....they are usually around the £8/9 per kit.

Cosmic Shimmer
Another class layout from my retreat that used Cosmic Shimmer's. Must admit I have quite a few of these bottles in my craft room that have never been touched but now I am looking forward to having a play!! They were sprayed through a May Arts template and I used a very light colour first then went over it with the blue/green colour and finshed off with the bronze colour. I felt it needed a simple layout on top so I just added some of the lovely Prima vines and a Prima stamp for the journaling. The title is done with some black glitter thickers.
Have a great weekend!

Catching up!
Apologies for lack of posts but decorating and general "life" has gotten in the way which is why I was so glad to finally getaway to a scrapbooking retreat last weekend. I went with the intention of completing kits/layouts that have been needing to be done for years....hence some very old papers..lol! I also had some classes whilst I was there which was great, they are almost all completed but just need photos etc so thats my next job. Over the next few days I will post the ones that are all done and dusted and ready for their albums.

The first layout I did for a sketch challenge at the retreat.....it uses SEI Grandmas kitchen. The second layout is one of my own from the rest of the kit. These papers are so old its not true but I still love it and thankfully even after 2 layouts I still have some left!!
If you are coming to my next class on saturday week, then by tonight I will have the photos sizes for you. I have posted a picture on the side bar of the papers we are using for you to get an idea on colours.

The Blue Pool
This layout was done using left over papers from an old kit I have had yonks! Cardstock is October Afternoon but cant remember which one! I love the colours in this range and it works really well with the photos we took of The Blue Pool in Dorset on holiday last year. Title was cut on the Cricut using Hanna Montana cartridge.
Back at the weekend with this months class layouts.
