Finally finishing layouts

Spent yesterday trying to catch up on unfinshed kits, that I keep moving around my room!  This layout is from a Totalpapercrafts kit we did last year at one of Karens all day crops.  I think the papers are K&Co, we used a Martha Stewart punch to make the border, flowers we made and the material ones are Prima long with the pearls and roses. Journaling card is from Delish, numbers are Thickers from American crafts.

I have waited for ages to find the right sort of photos for this layout, but my daughters 21st seemed appropriate and the neutral colours work well with the papers.

I managed to finish quite a few other layouts so will post those over the next few days......one of my main objectives this year is to finish started kits before starting anything new....fingers crossed!!

Engagment layout

Made myself sit and put some final touches to some layouts yesterday, this layout was a class at the retreat I went to in November.  The papers are from Pink Paislee and they were plain with a embossed design all over them.  They were coloured using distress ink, did not make a note of colours..sorry! The using a tissue to buff off the ink sitting on top of the resist.  I used subtle colours on mine to fit in with the photos. The frames were on another sheet which we cut around and coloured again.  The flowers were Prima and the small butterfly was Martha Stewart, the lovely large one a Marianne die. The You to me label was from My Minds Eye, not sure on the tickets, could be Tim's.  I added the "yes" onto the ribbon, that was from a pack by 7 Gypsies and some pearls I think were Prima. Not Sure what the flourish was as it came in the kit but probably Sizzix.

Have a lovely Sunday!

Good Cheer

Following on from yesterdays post, this is the layout I did using left overs from the first page and another acetate sheet. Everything on the layout is from the Fancy Pants Christmas Magic range except the numbers which were Making Memories stickers. The flowers and leaves were cut from one of the sheets and I used foam squares to layer them.  The rub ons went on top of the acetate sheet.

Time to play!

Finally, I have done some scrapbooking!  It feels like months ago since I last did some...but with Christmas preparations I have just have not had the time.  I hope you had a lovely christmas and took loads of photos!

I have had a major clear out of my Christmas papers and am trying to use up what I have before I order more!

Todays layout uses papers and an acetate sheet from Fancy Pants.  Most of the papers are underneath the acetate sheet, the photos and embellishments and rub ons are stuck on the top. The chipboard alphabet is from My Minds Eye, which I picked up in Hobbycrafts.

I had some papers and bits left over and I had another acetate sheet so I am just finishing that layout off , will show it next time.

Wall Hanging

In this months class we did a wall hanging, based on one I did last year at a ATDML retreat.  I used Sizzix dies and Nestabilities together with Artsylicious flocked cardstock and Doodlebug crushed velvet cardstock. The "Love" title was made from Thickers chipboard alphabets and I covered them in glossy accents. The hearts have been stamped with tiny detail stamps and then punched out with my Stampin'Up tiny heart punch and coated with glosy accents.  Lastly, I added some Prima flowers and made the hanging out of black velvet ribbbon.

Who would have belived we would have snow in NOVEMBER!!!!

Keep warm and dry

Mini Book

I dont do many mini books but I really enjoyed making this one, the photos are of our holiday this year to Wales and the great thing is you can get so many small photos in a mini book and get it done far quicker than if you were doing 12x12 layouts. The papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle and were last years autumn collection which I had left over from a class. The Title has been cut using one of Tim Holtz's alpabets Vintage Market and the stamp is from Waltzing Mouse. I used one of Tim's edger Sizzix dies for the border. The rest of the album is made up from a chipboard cover and envelopes for the pages. Inside each envelope I put another insert to hold some more photos.

Not getting alot of time for scrapping at the momet as Christmas cards have takn over but I counting the days until I go away for my retreat, hopefully I will get loads done then.

Back to Basics

Not alot of time for scrapping at the moment as I have been preparing card classes but I did manage to finish off a few kits that I am using to finish an album for my husbands nephew that visited us this year from Portugal earlier this year.

This kit from Totalpapercrafts uses the Basic Grey Basics range. Works well with these photos which were proving hard to match upto some patterened papers.  I used some American Craft Thickers for the title. Everything else is from the BG Basics range including the stickers.

I have put details of my next all day crop up for anyone that is interested.  If you want a seat reserved just pop me an email so I know numbers.
